Pisces New Moon 04-01-22 00:10:53 (-07:00)
A Time of Observation & Reflection
There are two cycles that should be looked at with new moons. One is the monthly cycle from new moon to new moon (think short term goals) and the other is roughly a six month cycle that ends when the full moon is in the same sign (long term goals). New moons offer a chance to set intentions that line up with the current energy flow.
This new moon offers up an opportunity to either observe and learn or get tossed by the waves. The moon is conjunct Mercury adding to the potential for great confusion during this time. When Mercury (the mind) is combust (behind the Sun) our ego tends to drown out our logic and communication. This moonth I would strongly urge everyone to observe, just take everything in, without jumping to conclusions. Both dispositors (rulers of Pisces)—Jupiter and Neptune—are conjunct in Pisces this new moon. This will increase everyone’s level of empathy and will encourage a desire to sacrifice oneself for each other. Be wary of this, do not be taken advantage of during this time by taking action before understanding all of the facts.
The first quarter moon on April 9th brings a challenge in Gemini which represents our communication, exchange, and things we take for granted. With a grand trine to Jupiter with Neptune and the South Node, the challenge will make it easy to reflect upon the past and will remind us of our empathy for others. Make sure to remember that this cycle is about observation and reflection, not necessarily action.
The full moon on April 16th in Virgo prompts a status check on our intentions for the month. Look to any harvests, or lack thereof, that you see in this area. This is the second full moon in a row that is in Virgo. When this happens, we get a second chance to catch up on things that have fallen by the wayside. This full moon should illuminate those things for you. Keep it in context. Should you act on these things, or just collect the information?
The last quarter moon on April 23rd in Capricorn will show us the long road we have ahead. Now that we have spent this time in observation, collecting information, the reality of it all is beginning to emerge. There is a loose conjunction here with Pluto in Sagittarius, once again highlighting a collective change of perspective. What are you letting go of this moonth? Take the balsamic phase for integration. We have a lot of work ahead of us.
The long term cycle of this new moon will culminate in early October with the full moon in Pisces. Set any long term goals with this in mind. It will provide another opportunity to look to your harvest. What has changed in your life as a result of the observations you collected?
This harmony seeking Libra Moonth is carried by the winds of a kite with Uranus (our authenticity) at the head and a moonth long revolving tail of Mercury Retrograde, Venus and the Sun all supported by Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. With Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, we will be diving deep into truths that have not previously been acknowledged and seeing how that can bring balance to a more authentic path. The grand trine structure of the kite with Jupiter and Saturn with Neptune combining with the rotation of fast movers throughout the moonth allows for opportunities of inspiration and structure to begin to take a more solid form. All of the nebulous dreams that have been floating around will begin to crystallize aided by the insights of this Mercury Retrograde and propelled forward by authenticity. The Gene Key gifts to contemplate this moonth are: Preservation, Anticipation, Invention and Guidance.
This powerful Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon lands on the Equinox this year. The Nodes finished their dance through Pisces and Virgo recently and this Partial Solar Eclipse moonth marks an end to that chapter of the development of our life path. This eclipse illuminates the South Node inviting the last bit of release necessary to fully embrace the spiritual path laid before us. The trine between Uranus and Pluto remains in orb throughout the moonth providing a supportive relationship between the restructuring in our lives and the cultivation of authentic resources. Saturn and Neptune continue to dissolve spiritual structures to make way for something deeper. The gift frequencies of the Gene Keys to contemplate on this moonth are: Commitment, Strength, Inquiry and Synergy.

It is the beginning of the second eclipse season of the year. The first eclipse at the full moon illuminates the need for authenticity and heart-led creation. This moonth a deeper background energy of Pluto in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus carries an undercurrent of the breakdown of structures supporting the cultivation of authentic resources. This will be an ongoing energy waning toward the end of October. The theme of the moonth is integrating heart-led creation with authentic resources. Saturn and Neptune are still hanging out together in Pisces working on dissolving structures. The framework is changing; follow your heart this moonth to navigate. The gift frequencies of the Gene Keys to contemplate on this moonth are: Enrichment, Totality, Discernment and Simplicity.
